Top Muslim Girl Moments From 2023

To close out 2023 and usher the dawn of 2024 anew, we decided to bring forth our top favorite Muslim Girl moments from 2023 as we reflect on everything we could break through. 2023 was a year of trials, tribulations, and tumultuous plights, but also a year that was a canvas for us where we painted strokes of celebration, gratitude, and renaissance.

We grieved and aggrieved at the loss of loved ones, and yet we strived until we thrived with unwavering determination. Muslim Girl soon became our collective sanctuary, a sturdy pillar supporting our hearts laden with the weight of turmoil.

To pay credit where it is due, the year unveiled a profound sense of unity — a space where each of us could inter a personal struggle, forging bonds stronger than ever. Day by day, the world around us felt like a harmonious sonata pulling us into its warm embrace while resonating as a collective soul beating with one united heart under one calling: a voice for the silenced, freedom for the caged, and justice for the wronged and oppressed.

In 2023, we were amongst the overwhelming majority of attestors who could bear witness that they comprehended why caged birds fly. If we could extend gratitude to the departing year, it would be for elevating solidarity to unprecedented heights.

While the journey ahead of us is still uncharted, with summits to transcend and roads to traverse, we cannot help but pause to glance back today as we pave our way forward one step at a time.

With hearts brimming with gratitude, pride, and resolve, we present the pinnacle moments of MGirl from 2023.
