Soho House Celebrates Muslim Women’s Day In New York City

In celebration of Muslim Women’s Day, Muslim Girl partnered with Soho House to close out the evening with our annual Muslim Girl Iftar.

Among partners, friends and allies, Muslim Girl Founder Amani Al-Khatahtbeh hosted an interfaith program featuring an armchair conversation with Halima Aden, the first hijabi model to grace the cover of Vogue. The gathering feted another year of the successful global campaign and Halima’s notable accomplishment of becoming the first woman named twice to the annual list of Muslim Women to Watch, in the company of other past and present Muslim Women to Watch honorees including model Imaan Hammam and singer Ilham.

The gorgeous company was thanked by the Muslim Girl team made up of Zainab Khan, Amirah Ahmed and Maliya Naz.

The fact that Muslim Women’s Day continues to grow year by year is a testament to the commitment of every person in this room to our pledge of empowering Muslim women’s representation.
