The outrageous intensity of headlines just keeps getting worse. It’s like a painfully slow linear upwards trend in between sharp spikes of “Islamic” advertised terrorism. Non-coincidentally, and unsurprisingly, the progression of stupidity is directly proportional to the progression of islamophobic hatred. Go figure.
Week of 3/22/15:
- Ayaan Hirsi Ali was recently named ‘a hero of our time’, by Rich Lowry. For what, though? Riding on the dark horse of Islamophobia to promote her books? For stereotyping Islam based on a culture she was raised in? For releasing false statistics to increase hatred towards the Muslim community? For infantilizing Muslim women? I could go on. - Our MuslimGirl.net Editor-In-Chief, Amani Al-Khatahtbeh, spoke in an interview on how obviously inherently feminist Islam is, stating, “As a Muslim woman, my hijab is my feminism; both in asserting my authority over my body as well as defying post-9/11 Islamophobia, racism and stereotypical expectations.”
- A Georgia terrorist plants a Quran bomb, framing Muslims. This man wanted to create Islamophobic hatred by any means necessary, even if it meant killing innocent people. Wow. [The Daily Beast]
- China bans a Muslim group from holding meetings, reporting allegations that the group may have links with ISIL, because of some leaflets with the “Allah is my God, Muhammad is my Messenger” symbol that all Muslims identify with. What next? Linking Muslims with ISIS for wearing black? [OnIslam]
- Pat Robertson cleverly states, on the Germanwings crash: “Was the co-pilot Muslim? Why did he want to kill all those people.” No, Pat. The co-pilot was just another non-Muslim, white, “mentally insane” terrorist. Also, the sky is blue. [RawStory]
- Paul Sperry, the same man who wrote a crazy book on “Muslim spies” infiltrating the White House, questions the dramatic rise in Muslim newcomers from war-torn, “dangerous” countries, and calls for in-depth screening or a complete blockade. It’s called immigration, Paul. Track back your ancestry. It’s probably how you got here, too. [WND]
- A pregnant Muslim woman was attacked in Toulouse, France by islamophobic terrorists who pulled her hijab and hair while exclaiming “none of that here”. This attack is one among hundreds since the Charlie Hebdo shootings. Terrorism can always be found in the form of ignorance. And there is so much ignorance here. [The Local France]
- SEPTA was forced to accept the advertising of anti-Muslim ads on 84 buses, with the headline “Jew Hatred: It’s in the Quran”. Islamophobia ensues. Ignorance fuels. People are assaulted, terrorized, and killed. This is not a no-strings advertising gig. This is a political, social, and biased call to incite hatred. How do people stand for this? [Philly]

Islam is as subversive as communism was under Stalin. Every country which has become an Islamic state has as their policy the subordination and discrimination of peoples of other religions. There is no exception, whereas every Western country where Christian and Jews are majorities they have laws that protect peoples of all religions, including Muslims. This is a big mistake on the part of the west. Islam must not be permitted to grow. Most Islamic states have Sharia as their law, a repressive set of laws that use capital punishment for offenses against Islam. No Western nation punishes people for their religious beliefs. Saudi Arabia, the keeper of places you call holy, even that big rock in Mecca that you worship and play ring around the rose during your pilgrimages, is the most uncivilized of the world’s nations when it comes to other religions. There are no churches or synagogues in SA. They are not permitted, but forbidden. Foreign workers are beaten and persecuted for practicing their religion. This is how the US will be if we permit Muslims into the US.

The bottom line, as with all Muslim Girls carping is that the violence against non-Muslims from Muslims is insignificant compared to what Christians, Jews and atheists get from the violent Muslims community. If you want to joust with me, be prepared to lose…
Yet broader politics are also driving the Islamophobia industry.
For Islamists such as the Cordoba Foundation, the narrative of British Muslims under attack, increasingly hated and feared by their fellow citizens, is essential for recruitment, and for furthering their central lie that different races and faiths cannot coexist.
“Islamophobic” is also a handy charge to throw at anyone who questions Islamist ideology.
Tell Mama is not Islamist, though Mr Mughal has written in the Cordoba Foundation’s journal (he says it was a “mistake” which he will not repeat).
But part of its motivation appears to be an attempt to draw some of the sting from Islamist terrorism by equating it with the work of anti-Muslim extremist groups such as the English Defence League.
As Tell Mama’s Twitter feed puts it, “whilst we need to tackle the narrative of hate inspired by al-Qaeda, we also need to tackle the thuggery and hate of the EDL”. Mr Mughal insists that “both groups are significantly problematic”.
Loathsome as the white extreme Right is, however, there is clearly no comparison. No one in Britain has been killed by the EDL; 53 people have been killed by Islamist terrorists. White racists, unlike their Islamist equivalents, do not control key religious institutions or have a significant presence in British universities.
Over the past decade, half a dozen or so white British Right-wingers have been convicted of possessing explosives and other weapons. But all were loners not acting in concert with any group.
In contrast, there have, over the same period, been 150 convictions for Islamist-related terrorism in the UK, many relating to serious, carefully organised, often multinational plots against specific targets involving substantial numbers of people.
For some quarters of the Islamophobia industry, it has now become Muslims who are the main victims of the Woolwich horror.
But while some innocent Muslims have of course become victims, the main victim was Drummer Lee Rigby. And in overhyping the backlash, some in the Muslim community are playing right into the hands of his killers.

ROME (AP) — Italy’s migration crisis took on a deadly new twist Thursday as police in Sicily reported that Muslim migrants had thrown 12 Christians overboard during a recent crossing from Libya, and an aid group said another 41 were feared drowned in a separate incident.

Palermo police said they had detained 15 people suspected in the high seas assault, which they learned of while interviewing tearful survivors from Nigeria and Ghana who had arrived in Palermo Wednesday morning after being rescued at sea by the ship Ellensborg.
The 15 were accused of multiple homicide aggravated by religious hatred, police said in a statement.
The survivors said they had boarded a rubber boat April 14 on the Libyan coast with 105 passengers aboard, part of the wave of migrants taking advantage of calm seas and warm weather to make the risky crossing from Libya, where most smuggling operations originate.
During the crossing, the migrants from Nigeria and Ghana — believed to be Christians — were threatened with being abandoned at sea by some 15 other passengers from the Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mali and Guinea Bissau.
Eventually the threat was carried out and 12 were pushed overboard. The statement said the motive was that the victims “professed the Christian faith while the aggressors were Muslim.”
The surviving Christians, the statement said, only managed to stay on board by forming a “human chain” to resist the assault.
Earlier Thursday, the International Organization of Migration said four migrants who were picked up in recent days by the Italian Navy reported a shipwreck to aid workers after arriving in the Italian port of Trapani Thursday. Their boat had originally been carrying 45 people; the others are presumed dead.
The IOM said the migrants — two Nigerians, a Ghanaian and one Nigerien — were found floating in the sea by a helicopter and were rescued by the Italian Naval ship Foscari. They had left Tripoli in Libya on Saturday and stayed adrift for four days. The location of the rescue was not immediately known.
The new tragedies come just days after aid agencies reported 400 presumed dead in the sinking of another ship near the Libyan coast. The deaths have raised calls for a more robust search and rescue of the seas between Libya and Europe amid a surge in migration between the Middle East and Africa toward Italy.

Muslims murder more than 50 commuters in attacks on London subways and busses. Over 700 are injured. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims murder innocent vacationers in Bali. No Muslim outrage.
Muslim newspapers publish anti-Semitic cartoons. No Muslim outrage Muslims are involved, on one side or the other, in almost every one of the 125+ shooting wars around the world. No Muslim outrage.
Muslims beat the charred bodies of Western civilians with their shoes, then hang them from a bridge. No Muslim outrage.
Paris riots. No Muslim outrage.
Madrid commuter train bombing. No Muslim Outrage.
Newspapers in Denmark and Norway publish cartoons depicting Mohammed. Muslims are outraged.
Dead children. Dead tourists. Dead teachers. Dead doctors and nurses. Death, destruction and mayhem around the world at the hands of Muslims .. no Muslim outrage … but publish a cartoon depicting Mohammed with a bomb in his turban and all hell breaks loose.
Come on, is this really about cartoons? They’re rampaging and burning flags. They’re looking for Europeans to kidnap. They’re threatening innkeepers and generally raising holy Muslim hell not because of any outrage over a cartoon. They’re outraged because it is part of the Islamic jihadist culture to be outraged. You don’t really need a reason. You just need an excuse. Wandering around, destroying property, murdering children, firing guns into the air and feigning outrage over the slightest perceived insult is to a jihadist what tailgating is to a Steeler’s fan.

Khaled Sharrouf and a buddy were arrested in Australia in 2007 for making bombs to use against civilians in Melbourne and Sydney. They pleaded guilty and were sentenced to four years in prison for “terrorist activity.”
When they were released, they stayed in Australia for a while and then slipped out the country on borrowed or stolen passports to get to the Middle East, there to fight “infidels” in the name of Allah. Earlier this week, Sharrouf posted photographs on his Facebook page to demonstrate what he has been up to since he left Australia. One of the photographs showed his son, age 7, holding up the severed head of an Iraqi soldier. Dad captioned it: “That’s my boy.”
Sharrouf’s fanatics-in-arms, including as many as 150 other Australian Muslims, are flying the black flag of the newly established Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, and looting villages, capturing women to serve as sex slaves, burying “infidel” families alive and beheading those who worship a different god than they. By week’s end, up to 150,000 Yazidi refugees fleeing ISIS were surrounded, trapped and starving on a mountaintop in the Iraqi desert. The world caught a glimpse of hell and even the slowest to anger began to see that these barbarians are serious.
Prime Minister Tony Abbott of Australia says Sharrouf’s photographs are evidence of the barbarism of the Islamic State and vows Australia will do what it can, which should be considerable, to rescue the fanatics under the black flag. He warns that they are far more than just another terrorist group. “It’s a terrorist army, and they’re seeking not just a terrorist enclave, but effectively a terrorist nation.”
The Australian defense minister has a different take. He says what is going on in Iraq is the gruesome work of lunatics who represent a “shocking misrepresentation of Islam.” This is no doubt correct; these “warriors” are as apt to kill fellow Muslims over arcane points of Islamic doctrine as to behead Yazidi “devil worshippers” and followers of the Christ, but it’s fair for the rest of the world to ask, “Where is the Muslim outrage?”
This is an organized army, not a band of lunatics. They boast they will one day raise their black flag over the White House, and they’re attracting support from jihadist Muslims not just from Australia, but from all over the world. The ISIS boasting demonstrates intent, if not a likely prospect, of flag-raising on Pennsylvania Avenue, and extremist recruiting in places like Australia goes well, because responsible Muslims, whether through fear or indifference, remain silent. Muslims who don’t want their religion tarred with the brush of barbarians must speak up now. Raising a loud voice would be a good project for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which is always eager to complain of American slights to Muslims.
If good Muslims think the crazies are misrepresenting the words and instructions of the Prophet Muhammad, they should say so, loud enough for all to hear. By their silence, they enable the perversion of their faith.

Where is the Muslim outrage?

As a Muslim I am outraged at this nonsense going on in Sudan and Saudi Arabia.
When Prophet Muhammad’s cartoons were published, the few Muslims around the world were outraged to the point of becoming destructive. They burned the embassy in Syria. Their contention was that the Prophet cannot be contained in an image, they were right but they were dead wrong on destroying any property, it went against the very principles taught by the Prophet “to forgive the wrong doers”. Not enough of us were outraged against those criminals to make a difference.
Ms. Gibbons affectionately calls the Teddy bear “Muhammad” and the fanatics cry foul. The good for nothing silent majority needs to step up and condemn the individuals and the government of Sudan for treating a lady for her benevolence in such an ugly manner. She probably would not have named, had she known about it.
Prophet Muhammad would be saddened with these guys behavior.
When the Buddha Statue, a world heritage monument was destroyed in Pakistan last month, Where was the Muslim outrage?
When the Buddhist Monks were locked up in Burma, where was the Muslim outrage?
What is good for the goose has got to be good for the gander. The third Caliph Omar punished his own son against a complaint from a Jewish businessman; such was the sense of Justice. Where is that sense of justice and fairness now?
Mirza A. Beg writes, “…a woman in Saudi Arabia was gang-raped. She was seen in a car with a person not of her family. She was also found guilty along with the rapists and recommended punishment under the Saudi Law.”
That was not bad enough, when she appealed to the Media her punishment was doubled because she made it public. Where is the Muslim outrage? Why aren’t the Muslims jamming the phone lines of Saudi Embassies around the world?
Why aren’t the Muslims decrying the Saudis for calling it an Islamic Law? It ain’t, it is their bizarre law of shameless men who do not follow their own religion of peace.
“In Sudan, a British teacher was arrested for the “sin” of helping her class of seven year olds to name a cuddly teddy bear, Muhammad. Yesterday, after a court trial, she was sentenced to 15 days in jail, and it is reported that a crowd was clamoring for a death sentence. In a closed dictatorial country a crowd does not gather, it is allowed or urged to gather.” Writes Mirza Beg. Where is the Muslim outrage?
The ones who forgive are the dearest to the lord. Where is this verse buried?
There were members of the state legislature in India who publicly called to kto kill a heretic, and there was a cleric who offered a bounty for killing the same heretic. Where is the Muslim outrage against these criminals?
God says “Killing one human is like killing the whole humanity”. Why isn’t this verse evoked?
Darfur is bleeding, where is the Muslim outrage?
The time has come for the Muslims to speak up; the good for nothing majority needs to speak up, and let their outrage be known.
No doubt, the one’s who express their outrage are not given the outlet. The media does not see sensationalism in this. At the world Muslim Congress we will continue to compile the outrage expressed my Muslims around the world.
I urge the media to give voice to the Muslims who speak up. It gives hopes to the mankind, that whether we are Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists or Zoroastrians, we face the common enemy – ignorance. Ignorance displayed by super literate people as well as illiterate.

Remembering the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing

On February 26, 1993, terrorists parked a rental van in a garage underneath the World Trade Center’s twin towers and lit the fuses on a massive homemade bomb stuffed inside. Six people died and more than 1,000 were injured in the subsequent explosion, which carved out a crater several stories deep and propelled smoke into the upper reaches of the quarter-mile-high skyscrapers. At the time, it was one of the worst terrorist attacks ever to occur on U.S. soil. But it would soon be overshadowed by the events of September 11, 2001, when Al Qaeda operatives crashed hijacked airplanes into the towers and brought them down.
The shame that is Islam…More than 3,000 died at the hand of Muslim terrorists. We will never forget.
