An Open Letter to Wall Street Journal from a Palestinian Woman

Bret Stephens penned a column last week in the Wall Street Journal titled, “Where are the Palestinian Mothers?” in which he makes the racist assertion, based on conversations he’s had with three individual women, that all Palestinian mothers raise their children to become “martyrs.”

The thing that Stephens must understand about Palestinians’ concept of “martyrdom” is that it’s a coping mechanism for the senseless loss of life they must endure. Their “martyrdom” is not an aspiration. It’s forced upon them.

My mother is a Palestinian. At the moment, she’s probably enjoying the peace of her suburban home. Unlike her counterparts in the West Bank and Gaza, she’s free from having to worry about her children being killed by occupational forces in the middle of the night, or even broad daylight. For a Palestinian mother, this is a freedom that can never be appreciated enough.

My grandmother was a Palestinian. She passed away last summer after decades of being a flag bearer of the strength of Palestinian mothers. She was a survivor of the Deir Yassin massacre in 1948, which was one of the first Palestinian villages to be ethnically cleansed by Zionist militias to create the state of Israel. She was seven years old at the time and witnessed the murder of her neighbors and relatives, including her own Palestinian grandmother and infant brother. Yet, she survived and, in her refugee exile, created a fruitful and happy life for her family that allows me to write this letter today.

Over that time, those militias came together to become the Israeli Defense Force. One of their leaders, Yitzhak Rabin, rose to become the prime minister of Israel.

In his column, Stephens claims that he has “yet to meet the Israeli mother who wants to raise her boys to become kidnappers and murderers.” Actually, every Israeli mother is legally obligated by the Israeli government to enter her sons and daughters into an institution that systematically kidnaps and murders. It’s the Israeli Defense Force.

palestinian women confrontation

Since 1948, the IDF has been creating mourning mothers for the longest occupation in modern human history, riddled with war crimes and human rights atrocities. Its illegal and immoral actions have been denounced in more United Nations resolutions than any other country in the world. The most recent were a series of four resolutions in the UNHCR denouncing Israel’s international law violations. All four of them passed 46 to 1 — with the lone dissenter being the United States.

Stephens refers to West Germany’s “moral rehabilitation” and ironically suggests it for the Palestinian people. Yet, in an iconic visit last month, Pope Francis stood before Israel’s apartheid wall and placed his hand on Palestinian graffiti that, in desperate broken English, said in spray paint: “Bethlehem looks like Warsaw ghetto.”

Extremist Israeli settlers have been engaging in some of the worst hate crimes in the conflict, notoriously known for pillaging mosques and churches, attacking and even running over Palestinians, and vandalizing Palestinian property with calls for the death of all Arabs. One of the three kidnapped Israelis was old enough to have already served in the IDF, and all three of them were on an illegal settlement on Palestinian territory. While no mother should endure the abduction or death of a child — neither Israeli nor Palestinian — the situation must be placed in the context of the conflict as a whole.

Since the disappearance of the three Israelis on June 12, 2014, at least 50 Palestinian civilians have been killed in retribution — including a 7-year-old child and a 15-year-old child — and hundreds more injured or imprisoned with no charges. But, you don’t know any of their names, despite having the three Israelis’ names memorized by heart.

Last Tuesday night, Palestinian teenager Muhammad Abu Khdeir was kidnapped and burned alive by an Israeli mob. His mother — like the mothers of the eight other murdered Palestinians or the hundreds of newly detained prisoners — will never be given the media attention to express her grief. Nor does she or any of the other Palestinian mothers have the power to demand that Israel brings back their boys.

Among many Israelis, Mohammad’s death was celebrated. All facets of Israeli society, even up to the government, called for this sort of retribution, with Netanyahu demanding “revenge” and Ben-Ari calling for “death to the enemy.” While the call for justice is expected of any democratic country, what Israel is calling for is indiscriminate revenge.

Netanyahu called the killers of the three Israelis “human animals.” But, in Israel’s collective punishment of the Palestinian people, his accusations and references of a faceless Palestinian enemy, and his sheer condoning and even encouragement of anti-Arab racism, he is implicating the Palestinian people as a whole.

Indeed, Israel treats Palestinians as nothing more than animals. In this case, Israel has placed its “animal” in a cage and keeps prodding it with a stick — or, more accurately, with rubber bullets, tear gas, and even white phosphorous. Then, when the animal bites back, Israel feigns selective memory and moral outrage and punishes it in ways that are unprecedented in our modern history.

Stephens makes the racist suggestion that Palestinian culture is filled with hate, but what, then, can we say of a society that views another people as collectively subhuman?

If you want to know where the Palestinian mothers are, they are living under a military occupation, among an unarmed civilian population, quietly reciting their boys’ names in their hearts as American columnists try to write them away.

  • The Palestinians are not all innocents in this mess. Many of them are terrorists who want nothing but the total destruction of Israel, or it’s takeover by extremists. I didn’t shed any tears over this woman’s editorial to the Journal. Not at all.

    • You’re so bloody foolish, that’s why.
And on top of that you’re a fucking ignoramus, a racist living on stolen land.

    • Maybe you just prefer the spoon-fed hatred that makes all the bigoted, one-sided American journalism so palateable! Don’t shed a tear for a fellow human being, stay entrenched, it’s what made blood-soaked white settlers so proud of what Anglosdid in the USA.

      • I never forget how much some people hate the Jews and Israel. That’s why they Israelis can never let down their guard.

        • Maybe the reason some people hate the Israelis so much is because they have and still commit the same evil that has been committed against the Jews historically.

          • Why the whole world is talking about Palestinian why not Tibet. Why don’t Palestinian admit

        • Jews don’t forgive; it’s a cornerstone of the religion. I was going to put on a Seder and invited an acquaintance to join me. He said he was tired of the generational hatred of Jews towards Egypt. It prompted me to really read through the what I used to think was a beautiful ceremony. He was right. If Jews are still having a yearly ceremony over something that happened over a thousand years ago, what makes anyone think that they will not twist every nuance and complain about it for years to come. I’ve grown disgusted with Judaism as many disillusioned Jews have. With no way to absolve those who’ve trespassed upon you, how can anyone move forward? It’s a base consciousness that this cultivated. The international community needs to move around Israeli objections and enforce international law.

          • Wow, very well said!

I would also like to add that the Jews, in their religious culture. are waiting for their own Messiah with their own definition of it, contrary to the Christian Messiah who will come in peace and who will forgive everyone and bestow love and acceptance, the Jewish Messiah will be a political leader The mashiach will be a great political leader descended from King David (Jeremiah 23:5). He will be well-versed in Jewish law, and observant of its commandments (Isaiah 11:2-5). He will be a charismatic leader, inspiring others to follow his example. He will be a great military leader, who will win battles for Israel.

Then they say, after all the destruction, peace will come and the whole globe or the non-jews known as gentiles, including Muslims AND christian (and this is for all the disillusioned Christians out there) will know the truth all of a sudden and then peace will prevail.

So yes as you said, their own description of a Messiah is political and full of war rhetoric, what more do you expect?

          • Another ignoramus, asinine, comment on Jews.

Even religious Christians understand the Bible where it says the final times when the Messiah comes, “the Jews will be a light unto the world.”

It is not political but a belief in God by the entire wordl with no idolatry.

“Light” does not include the darkness of war.

          • Absolutely false, Jews are taught that they were “Guests in Egypt” , you clearly don’t know shit. and neither does your (probably imaginary) “friend”

    • Open your ears and eyes… What is Israel trying to do, exactly ….to the Palestinians….? It’s shameful….and the world knows and sees who the monsters are. The ones who shut off electricity to dialysis patients..!! The inhumanity of that is incomprehensible ..!

      • Why the whole world is talking about Palestinian why not Tibet. Why don’t Palestinian admit that this land was once belongs to Jews

        • Yup, Palestine belonged to the Jewish ppl of old, those ppl are long gone and some would argue that they ARE the Palestinians living there today. But why should it matter?
Did it matter that America originally belonged to the native Indians, is this an excuse to exterminate a whole race of people blindly?

    • Not a surprise… Many Israelis, definately a growing number of Israeli youths are succumbing to extremism. They are taught in their homes and by their rabbis, and of course their elected leaders to hate Arabs, believe the Palestinians are mostly terrorists, and that they deserve to be treated as sub humans.

      • you should read Israeli threads on Facebook, they call Palestinians Animals and compete on ideas of how to kill a Palestinian. If this is rhetoric on social media, then how do the speak at home?

    • It’s simple, the Palestinians lived in a land and foreign people systematically stole it from them and treated them in the same manner the Nazis were treating the Jews, what’s so difficult to understand? Now you may be tempted to go back to the Bible and say that God said that god said that the land is for his chosen people. If that’s how you think, then there’s no difference between you or any other religious extremist in the world 😉

      • The Jews treated the Palestinians “in the same manner the Nazis were treating the Jews?”

If that were true all the Palestinians today would be dead.

  • I met with a courageous member of Hamas, who told us that he teaches his children “to love, not hate.” His mother sat with us in the room, looking at him with great pride. It was clear where he had learned this, and he was passing this on to his children, his 8-year-old son Salahadin sitting on his lap. This was in the West Bank village of Beit Ummar. A few years before our visit he had been elected mayor and immediately arrested and held in Israeli prison for two years. This man of peace had experienced the way of hate when he was beaten in Israeli prison. Do not look at Hamas terrorists and pretend that every Hamas member espouses violence. How many peacemaking Palestinians do you have to meet to be convinced?

  • Thank you, Amani, for this excellent article. Because of people like you, more and more Americans are becoming aware of evil zionism and its racist ideology towards the oppressed Palestinian people. Keep up the good work!

  • I wish a few more facts would have been in the article that were conveniently left out! From the end of WW2 the so called leaders of the Palestinian people and other Arab countries showed little to no concern for this population of humans! The story forgets to mention that in the 1940s The UN made moves to secure whats now Israel for the Palestinians and their leaders refused the land! The poor and helpless were left to suffer! One corrupt group after another like hamas will keep this mess going on forever!

    • The leaders may be corrupt, but it does not excuse the treatment of Palestinians by Israelis or the occupation of their land. As to the UN, WW2 and before, a bit of background that is all too often ignored but shouldn’t because it is part of the US position/history regarding how the European powers behaved during and after WW!.

In testimony before the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations a former US State Department official who had been a member of the American Commission at Paris, testified that the United Kingdom and France had simply gone ahead and arranged the world to suit themselves.

The United States filed a formal protest because the preamble of the mandates indicated to the League that they had been approved by the Principal Allied and Associated Powers, when, in fact, that was not the case. (American note to the Council of the League of Nations, – February 1, 1921)

The treaty contained no provision for the mandates to be allocated on the basis of decisions taken by four members of the League acting in the name of the so-called “Principal Allied and Associated Powers”. The decisions taken at the conferences of the Council of Four were not made on the basis of consultation or League unanimity as stipulated by the Covenant. Since he ‘Mandates were not the creation of the League,” (Balfour), the actions of the Council of the Four were viewed by some as having no legitimacy.

The position of the US was further explained by Henry Cabot Lodge who wrote in Reservations with Regard to the Treaty and the League of Nations “3. No mandate shall be accepted by the United States under Article 22, Part 1, or any other provision of the treaty of peace with Germany, except by action of the Congress of the United States.” (

The spoils of war…. The areas in the ME that were under Ottoman control later became independent states – Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Transjordan, but not Palestine. Like some others, Palestine was a Class A British Mandate, i.e. territories formerly controlled by the Ottoman Empire that were deemed to “… have reached a stage of development where their existence as independent nations can be provisionally recognized subject to the rendering of administrative advice and assistance by a Mandatory until such time as they are able to stand alone. The wishes of these communities must be a principal consideration in the selection of the Mandatory.”

The mandates were supported by President Woodrow Wilson, but the
Senate refused to ratify the Covenant of the League of Nations or the mandates. Senator Borah explained his objections to the mandates: “When this league, this combination, is formed four great powers representing the dominant people will rule one-half of the inhabitants of the globe as subject peoples – rule by force, and we shall be a party to the rule of force. There is no other way by which you can keep people in subjection. You must either give them independence, recognize their rights as nations to live their own life and to set up their own form of government, or you must deny them these things by force.” (Nov.19, 1919)

Is it therefore surprising that the Palestinians who thought that they were on their way to independence, not only were denied it, but saw their country partitioned? I defy any reasonable person to accept to give away willingly what is theirs. Not in a million years. That is the context of the
partition rejection. Interestingly, since the USSR was supporting Israel then – Kibbutz = socialism, capitalism = evil – the Palestinian Communists followed order from the Soviets and supported the partition.

One question:How would the United States, or any other state for that matter, have reacted should the UN decide to give to someone else let’s say Florida? I bet every one would have rejected the “offer” or “edict” depending one one’s point of view, and taken arms. Why should it have been different for Palestinians?

The dehumanization of a whole people, driven by Israel and friends, means that some accept that Palestinians mothers are different from all other mothers; that there is no equivalence between the death of an Israeli and that of a Palestinian; that the leading news in mainstream media regarding the conflict is Israel-centric: hearing Israeli sirens make us empathize with Israelis, feel their fear as they run to their shelters/bunkers and barely mention the reality of Palestinians live in Gaza although Israeli missiles are far more lethal than rockets.

We heard that Israel has “warned” Palestinians to leave their homes, Where are they supposed to go? Borders with both Egypt and Israel are closed. The sea is patrolled by Israeli ships that do not allow even fishermen to earn a living. Pray, tell. Where are the Palestinians to go?

      • Indeed where are the Palestinians to go? But if you were, as I was, in Germany from 1946 to 1948 you might have asked Where are the Holocaust survivors to go? Neither Britain nor the US nor any other country would allow them refuge thus putting them into the hands of the Jewish Agency (the Zionist organisation). If you seek the ultimate cause of the disasters throughout the Middle East then there are four nations to blame, not the Palestinians or the Jews, but Austria, Germany, France and Britain.

        • Thank you Lionel for pointing that out, and I do agree you. I don’t think anyone is dismissing the suffering of the Palestinian people. We have to find a way to move forward

          • It is difficult to see a way forward; under Netanyahu, the Likud and the present Israeli government, with the apparent support of most of the Israeli population, it is clear that they envisage no change in the present situation except for a gradual move to a Greater Israel, and a willful disregard for international opinion. I am filled with despair; the only faint hope I have is that Jews in the diaspora, like myself, might have some effect on Israeli opinion.

      • Thank you for all that you wrote. I would like to note however, that if we are going back in time, then the US should also give back the US to the native Americans, the Spanish, the French and the British. And the rest of the world, well:

So you see this never ends. We have to learn to move forward

        • I appreciate the fact that you may want to shield Israel by finding fault with others and i don’t blame you for it.
However, most of the states on your list were occupied – and I don’t condone this – long before the advent of modern day international law. Another important difference is that Israel is the only state that was created by the United Nations out of someone else’s land. Had a referendum be held and citizens of Palestine consulted, I bet that the partition would not have taken place. But we have a situation now where Israel exists and Palestinians are under Israeli military occupation, where Israel, a nuclear power, has military forces and Palestinians have none, where Israel can bomb and destroy Gazan infrastructure, civilian and humanitarian buildings and killing hundreds of Palestinians while “defending itself” but Palestinians are on lock-down with nowhere to go. Doesn’t seem right to me.
The possibility of establishing a Palestinian state (two-state-solution) now is almost impossible given the expansion of settlements. This has happened under the wat of successive Israeli governments – no matter whether Labour or Likud. According to Gershom Gorenberg, Israeli Prime Minister Levi Eshkol told President Lyndon Johnson in 1968 that he “had decided not to decide” what kind of Israel he wanted, although he knew full well the legal consequences of transfer of population and settlement building, having been given an opinion from his own legal counsel: “My conclusion is that civilian settlement in the administered territories contravenes the explicit provisions of the Fourth Geneva Convention.”
Given that the Israeli government and its settlers allies want all the land between the Jordan and Mediterranean sea, the only option remaining is that it declares its borders accordingly and assume the consequences. This way it gets the natural resources – gas in Gazan sea, water etc. – without continuing the periodic violent charades: obviously Palestinians are going nowhere, and killing them slowly didn’t work. Enough violence already. May the two peoples decide to live in peace, may be not loving, but at least tolerating and renewing acquaintance with each other. The majority of people on both sides are reasonable and want nothing more than peace and security.

        • Yes indeed, but this age is the age of modern international humanitarian law, we’re not in the jungle anymore. If with all our skills and human advancement, we cannot do anything for peace, anything for injustice that is happening in front of our own eyes, then let us get back to the pre-international law system of the jungle, better.

    • Steven, even if your claims were true — what’s the point? Even if “so called leaders of the Palestinian people … show little concern for this population,” does that justify Israeli injustice? Of course not. The argument is merely a distraction from the wrongs of occupation and dispossession committed by Israel.

As for the UN partition plan in the 1940s, that is a reference frequently made by supporters of Israel’s occupation. I wonder how Israelis would react today if the UN suggested the modern state of Israel be divided and 56% of it be given to Palestinians. I doubt they would welcome the proposal.

At the time of the UN partition plan, Jewish settlers had purchased just 7% of the land in Palestine, yet they were allotted the majority, 56%, of the territory by the UN. Of course many on that side were glad to accept this unjust distribution. You can read further detail here:

  • First of all I wanted to say that yesterday, july 12th I attented a rally in Vancouver, canada in support of the people of Gaza.We shouted slogans in support of the people of Gaza and condemned the Canadian gov. for supporting Israel.
How women react to things depends on the surroundings around them and their living conditions. There is no comparsion to the women of Palestine and Israel. The women of Palestine are fighting for their lives and the lives of their families. In Israel there are two classes of women.Women who support the Israeli gov. and are racist toward the Palestinian People and there are women who had the chance to visit the West Bank or Gaza and realized that it is Israel that is in the wrong. If more women had the chance to visit Palestine they would change their minds about Palestine.
During the Vietnam war the Vietnamese women in North Vietnam all fought against the American occupation of their country while in South Vietnam there were some women who supported the americans. This was because the americans had their bases in the South and provided jobs to women there who were willing to betray their country. These women paid a heavy price for that when the war was over. The women in Israel who support the Israeli gov. will pay a heavy price for what they are doing in time to come.

  • The American press is on a mission to cover up the false support for this Israel government. Ask yourself ” why do I have to cover Israel’s ASS ” ????

  • It is enough cruelty by Israeli mothers to allow their children to occupy and live in occupied land. They condone their bad behaviors like stealing others land, killing its rightful owners. Nothing less can be expected from Palestinian mothers, other than to raise their children to resist their oppressors and occupiers. No mother wants her kids to be hurt, I have a Palestinian mother, I know how much she cares about me and all of her4 kids.

    • Palestinian mothers encourage and are pleased when their sons or daughters become martyrs trying to kill or killing innocent Israelis.

They and their poverty-stricken families celebrate for a very god reason.

Abbas encourages this with false accusations—but worse has

“The Palestinian Prisoners’ Law.” Or “Murder Incentive Law.”

Palestinian terrorists in Israeli prisons receive a monthly” salary.”

Some 78 already released are receiving monthly “salaries” of up to nearly $3,500, and grants of up to $25,000.

This year alone Fatah paid terrorists $46 million dollars with much of our American tax dollars.

That is 16% of the Palestinian budget supposedly to develop their economy.

Israel has dealt with these and other attacks in the most expedient and humane way possible—unless they have to be shot dead to stop them.

Other countries would make draconian laws to deal with terrorists. U.S. police kill these attackers when innocent Americans are randomly stabbed on U.S. streets.

Stop the Palestinian money unless they stop the stabbings.

Everyone should read the article the Times should have written:

“The Palestinian Authority Murder Incentive Fund”

Why Israel’s “Peace Partners” Are So Eager To Kill Jews.

  • I was touched by your article. Please don’t think that the people in Israel don’t think and worry about the people in Gaza. They haven’t left my mine for a second and I am horrified by the images and deaths. We in Israel want peace. Like your people we elect leaders (I’d like to note that I did not vote for Netanyahu) because we are frustrated and hope for change. But when both sides vote for leaders that will not communicate with the other–we the people suffer. It is my dream to see peace in this region. I wish we could communicate. You are right for your feelings, you have every right to feel as you do. Not everyone in Israel celebrates when the people in Gaza suffer. I don’t know of one person that does, and I certainly have not seen anything like that broadcast on TV. It is unrealistic to think that either side will leave this land. Therefore we have to move forward. We cannot continue to argue about who’s land this is. We have to think about the future. But not without remembering the suffering of the people of Gaza. That I agree. I only hope that the people in Gaza and all Palestinian people will understand that the majority of the people in Israel want peace. I wish for this war and every war to end. Thank you for sharing your article.

    As-salamu alaykum

    • Wishing for peace and sitting idly while the Israeli government does everything in its power to insure no peace? I hope not. We heard your prime minister at his news conference last Friday, did you? He is simply not going to ever agree to a Palestinian State. So what is your solution? I hope it is not doing the same, wishing for peace and nothing else. For me, the solution is simple: ONE STATE WITH EQUAL RIGHTS FOR ALL OR TWO STATES BASED ON THE 1967 LINES WITH A SHARING OF THE HOLY CITY OF JERUSALEM FOR BOTH. Israel, sadly, is not interested in either of my solutions, notwithstanding your desire for peace. God Bless you for your wishes of peace, the next step is standing up to your extremists, getting new leadership in Israel so that your wish may come true.

  • What this hate filled diatribe fails to mention is that in 1947 UNSCOP partitioned the land known as Palestine into 2 areas, one for Jews and one for the Arab population of the area known as Palestine. When the Arabs rejected the partition, Israel went ahead and began nation building while the Arabs prepared for war. When the Arabs attacked, they lost. When conventional fighting by Arab armies proved futile, they resorted to terrorism.

    • And the Israelis took this as a chance to start systematic killing.

This was planned by the way, as Ben Gorian, the founding father of IsraHELL said:

“A partial Jewish State is not the end, but only the beginning. … I am certain that we will not be prevented from settling in the other parts of the country, either by mutual agreements with our Arab neighbors or by some other means. . . [If the Arabs refuse] we shall have to speak to them in another language. But we shall only have another language if we have a state.”

Israeli historian Benny Morris wrote of the massacres of Palestinians in 1948 and Ben-Gurion’s role in covering up for the officers who committed the massacres.

The thing is, that the jewish religion thrives on war (and war is hatred in my dictionary) as only through this war the Massiah will come. Perhaps Ben Gorion thought himself as an aspiring Messiah, a political leader who will get back IsraHELL so that a new dawn shall prevail.

If the jews are such religious extremists who want to bring a 3000 year old text into the present and who are reading a 3000 year old text for guidance, what is our fault? Please do not call others religious extremists, look at yourself first.

By the way, the article is not full of hate, the lady was very respectful when she wrote it. She mentioned love and asked for peace on both sides. Hate only comes from IsraHELL, just listen to you and your friends talking amongst each other and you will know what I mean.

  • September 11 2001 I watched Palestinians dancing in the streets as the twin towers collapsed and over 3 thousand innocent people from all walks of life died,I watched in horror as men and women hurled themselves from the building rather than burn to death I watched Palestinian men, women, and brain washed children celebrate like the clock strikes midnight on January 31 In the years following I have seen very few Arabs denounce terrorism.Americans these days are being equally brainwashed by the progressive left that’s imbedded in our grade schools and universities around the country, history is being taught by revisionists but for those that care to know the truth. For 20 years at the end of the 18 the century Muslims pirates off the Barbary coast terrorized American ships and captured tortured and sold into slavery American sailors.234 years later America is still embroiled in a life and death struggle with the Muslim people.when will we learn? The Palestinians could have had a state in 1947 but thought the Arab armies would destroy the Jews in the blink of an eye as we know that didn’t, happen today thousands of rockets are going off in every Israeli city aimed at civilians to maximize the horror, yet the Palestinians would have the world believe they are the victims always the victims.I hope Israel invades and this time wipes Hamas of the face of the earth.

    • Honestly, you’re not worth a reply back to such a hideous comment but you, yourself are nothing but full of ignorance.

    • This is Israel , since 1946 when the jews start refuge to palestine running away from the war wwii and from hitler execution camps , first thing they did to the Muslims the Arabs who host them they massacre the civilians and executed a lot of villagers outside their villages while going home from works in the fields, they killed the children’s first because they said they’re the future of the arabs, they ‘ll kill our children in the future, until now the jews do the same, arabs childrens not count but the jews childrens count, destroying thousands of arabs houses and killing 100’s of them is not count but killing one jew is count, where’s humanity, where’s the justice, no wonder these arab childrens when they grow up they become militants to fight israel.
Israel is a war criminal government in a lot of international courts, and terrorist state, US support terrorist state, US is partner with israel in the crime against humanity, US under Bush sentenced as war criminals ( Bush, his cabinet, his advisors and lawyers ), now Obama and his government supporting israel with american weapons, money , support in the UN, and support israel with intelligent informations , make US war criminal again.
also why the american media hypocrites and unjust when comes to cover stories concern arabs or muslims and make the victim a killer and the make the killer as a victim, disgusting.

  • Israel has 2 choices ( 1 ) Be wiped off the face of the earth. ( 2 ) wipe the Arabs of the face of the earth. Damn the torpedoes if the Israeli,s want to survive they must incinerate the real culprits which the whole world knows is Iran second flat out kill every member of Hamas and every other militant group in the region.Only then will peace be even slightly possible. If radical Islam has shown one thing is that they are a committed bunch of killers with no qualms of dying. The world should say enough and give them the paradise they seek.

    • Darling, your own jewish messiah won’t come to earth before there is war. the jewish religion is based on war and hatred. no one hates as much as jews. if hollywood does not mention it, jews know it.

  • Muslimgirl- there are an absurd amount of lies in this article,

    it is haram to lie,

and it is more haram, and pathetic, to lie on Ramadan.

If you can’t drum up support to hate Israel based on facts and truth, what hope does your cause of hate and genocide really have?

  • The author of this piece deserves a medal for her courage and clarity. Her writings put the actions and the propaganda of the Zionist lowlifes at the Wall Street Journal to shame.

  • Stop treating Israel like the enemy. The enemy is Hamas and other terrorist organizations. Israel is a secular state where anyone can live peacefully.

  • Jews are the true indigenous people and owners of the Land of Israel.

    Who occupies whom?

Barack Hussein Obama’s last speech at UN General Assembly (September 20 2016) referred to Israel when he said they should stop occupying Palestinian lands:

“Israel recognizes that it cannot permanently occupy and settle Palestinian land. We all have to do better as leaders in tamping down the notion of identity that leads us to diminish others…”

Obama’s White House Chief of Staff, in September 19 2015, Denis McDonough said, “an [Israeli] occupation that has lasted for almost 50 years must end.”

Obama cold-bloodedly—anti-Semitically— diminished the murder of Jews in a Paris kosher grocery by Muslim terrorists with ties to Islamic State as an instance where “zealots . . randomly shoot a bunch of folks.”

One wonders what he would have said or done if the “bunch of folks” were Muslims instead of Jews.

Before giving money to Arab nations, why didn’t Obama demand that the Palestinians and Arabs stop spewing the daily barrage of anti-Semitism in kindergartens, mosques, universities, the media, etc.—the real reason why they continue to murder Jews?

Jews have always maintained a presence in the land despite being oppressed world powers like Babylonia, Persia, Assyria, Greece, Rome, Turks, etc.

Jerusalem was always capital of a Jewish State never an Arab one.

Jerusalem is mentioned 687 times in the Jewish Bible.

Jerusalem is mentioned 146 times in the New Testament.

Jerusalem is not mentioned—not even once—in the Koran.

Jerusalem is the Jewish holy place.

Rome is the Christians holy place.

Mecca is the Arabs holy place.

Palestinians are an “invented” people… their origin stamped into their family names: al-Masri (the Egyptian), al-Djazair (the Algerian), el-Mughrabi (the Moroccan), al-Yamani (the Yemenite) and even al-Afghani are so common among those claiming to be “Palestinians.”

    Yasir Arafat himself was Egyptian.

    Mohammad Abbas is Jordanian,

“Today’s Palestinians are immigrants from many nations..”

(DeHass, History, p. 258. Reinhold Rohricht edition).

“There are villages populated wholly by settlers from other portions of the Turkish Empire in the 19th century; Bosnians, Circassians, and Egyptians.”

(James William Parkes, “History of the Peoples of Palestine,” 1970)

For those who believe in the Bible:

Jews were promised the Land of Israel in the Bible.

    • Genesis 12:6-7, 15:13-21, 17:1-8, 17:19, 26:1-5, 28:10-14 and 35:9-12

    • Numbers 34:13-29

    • Deuteronomy 3:8

Jew possessed Israel since the year 1466 BCE, and the Arabs invaded the Land of Israel (Palestine) in the year 635 CE,

All Palestinian belongs to Israel—including the Gaza Strip and the West Bank

Who promised it to the Palestinians?

The Children of Israel have come home.
