It’s the end of March. You know what this means. We can all begin to bust out of our winter gear, and enjoy the outdoor weather because SPRING IS HERE.
Local retailers are filling their stores with the cutest spring/summer pieces, so it’s time to start working on that spring/summer wardrobe! These are some of my must-haves for this spring season.
1. Something dusty pink.
I love this color — it perfectly embodies the mood and color palette of spring. Apparel-wise, I like pairing this color subtly with neutral colors such as white, black, grey, denim etc. I also love this color in the form of a fringed scarf. The one I’m wearing below is from H&M
You can even incorporate this color in the most subtle ways, like with a nail color.
Or, if you’re feeling bold, a coat.
2. A white hijab or neck scarf.
With the right makeup and clothing choice, white hijabs can add an element of freshness and crispness to the overall look.
Just kidding (#tobias), more like this:
3. Sandals.
And I’m talking about the ones that look like they could be from the motherland. Birkenstocks or any corked sandal really highlight the casual aspect of an outfit.
4. A fresh pair of new sunglasses.
A girl can never have too many pairs of sunglasses. Each pair fits a different mood, different outfit, different you. That being said, be sure to have a classic pair and get a little funky and crazy with em’ too. Forever21 and H&M honestly have super trendy shades that can help you affordably spice things up.
(My classic black semi-cat eye sunglasses are from H&M)
But thanks to FashionSnoops, I’ll definitely be trying out these trends:
Round
Mirrored Lens
5. And lastly, a nice light spring jacket.
Preferably something light weight, bright in color, with a loose fitting silhouette.
I hope you ladies found these spring must-haves helpful! Now off to the stores you go!
you look very good in that white hijab. kind of Jackie O ish. reminds me of the Seinfeld episode when mr pitts hires Elaine, anyway.
I don’t know if you are allowed to wear such a form fitting top?
Allowed?!
yes, allowed! you now under the draconian laws of islam. I think they call it sharia.
