I was so excited to learn that one of my favorite Muslim-woman owned small business, With A Spin, was featured in February’s Muslim Girl’s monthly subscription box.

I’ve purchased from With A Spin before and was very satisfied with their products as well as their customer service. I had purchased Eid goody bags for my daughter’s preschool class and they were a big hit! This February, the box features With A Spin’s popular Harmony cookie cutters, which launched in February 2016.
“It was launched to send a message of love, unity and respect and how hate can only bring in more hate, but love breeds more love,” Hossain said.
Lail Hossain, the founder of With A Spin, launched these cookie cutters to spread interfaith love and peace. The set includes a Ramadan lantern (fanous), a Christmas tree, Diwali diya (lantern) and a Hanukkah dreidel.

There are so many ways to use these adorable $18 Harmony cookie cutters for your neighbors, friends, children and classrooms. Here are some ideas:
1. Send a set to your neighbors during the holidays in December or during Eid and Ramadan.
Don’t forget the card.
2. Make Rice Krispie Treats using the cookie cutters to send to your kids’ classrooms during Eid and read an Eid or Ramadan book to go along with it.
I recommend Ilyas & Duck: Fantastic Festival of Eid Al-Fitr since the books explore different holidays.
3. Use the cookie cutters to make melted crayons.
These are so symbolic because you have the Harmony cookie cutters, plus all the different colors of crayons together in one shape.
4. Make cookies to pass out to your co-workers.
Here is a delicious recipe for sugar cookies.
