As humans, we thrive off positivity. Everything we do becomes so much better when we do it with a positive mindset. Our work comes easily to us when we have goal in our hearts, a goal that we can clearly visualise in our brains, and a goal that we want with our entire beings.
Scientists and researchers are continuously telling people now that the only way to achieve success is if we are able to manifest what we really want in our brain and believe in it completely. That we must first convince ourselves that we will achieve all our goals and not succumb to any limitations (the biggest limitation being ourselves.) But for Muslims, we’ve had an advantage over science for almost 1500 years.
Allah SWT tells us to ask him with complete conviction, with complete belief and reliance on Him, knowing that He will certainly, without fail, respond to us and give us what we’ve asked for.
And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me – indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided. (Surah Baqarah, Ayah 186)
Dua. Supplication. Allah SWT has asked us numerous times in the Quraan to turn to him when we need something, when we want something, when we desire something deeply from our hearts. Dua is our way of manifesting what we want our successes to be like. Allah SWT tells us to ask him with complete conviction, with complete belief and reliance on Him, knowing that He will certainly, without fail, respond to us and give us what we’ve asked for.
It may take some time. And sometimes our Dua’s are answered differently because what we want isn’t good for us. But if we’re consistent, and we work hard and continue making Dua every day, we will most definitely have our Dua’s answered and our dreams fulfilled.
