5 Resources To Help You Learn Quranic Arabic

Imagine knowing what each verse of the Quran means while reciting and reading the Quran. The words in the Quran are a direct communication from Allah to mankind. Hence, the importance of learning Quranic Arabic is emphasized so that we can truly learn the message of the Quran. 

Learning Quranic Arabic is not easy, especially if Arabic is not your mother tongue. The verses of the Quran hold a unique meaning and to understand the meaning, it is important to understand the basics of Arabic grammar. Luckily, there are a handful of resources that aid in the learning of understanding Quranic text. We’ve shortlisted some of the resources to kick off your experience of learning Quranic Arabic!

3. Al Huda Online

Al Huda is famously known for the online courses they offer. They have a weekly course called “​​Learn to Read and Speak Arabic Language” in which they teach the fundamentals of the Arabic Language. 

4. Quran Intensive – Qalam Institue 

The Quran Intensive course is conducted by Qalam Institute and taught by Ustadh Obaidullah Ahmad.  This course will introduce students to foundational concepts and principles of the Arabic language. Students will learn how to identify these concepts in the Qur’an, and they will practice them so that they can better translate and understand what they are reading when they encounter them again.

5. Quranic App

Quranic is a great app to increase one’s vocabulary of the Arabic language, particularly related to the Quran. It’s a fun and interactive way to familiarize yourself with Quranic words and their meaning. Quranic provides you with a list of words, each with its meaning in Arabic. You have to guess the word based on its picture. The more you guess correctly, the higher your score will be. It is easy to play and suitable for all ages!
