By Yuna Zarai is coming to Rutgers University (New Brunswick, NJ) – TONIGHT!
Yuna, a Muslim singer/guitarist who made her recorded debut in Malaysia in 2008, will be visiting and performing at one of New Jersey’s top public universities and the home of MuslimGirl. Nominated as one of MTV Iggy’s Best New Bands in the World in 2011, Yuna has played at MTV Studios and numerous other venues. In 2012, she came out with a new single, “Live Your Life,” produced by Pharrell Williams, and her latest album, “Nocturnal,” came out in 2013. Throughout her entire career, she’s been crushing stereotypes and rising to fame with immense talent and grace.
This event is free, and open to Rutgers University undergraduate students and guests. However, please take note that guests must be accompanied by a Rutgers student. Details below!
