Week of 11/22/15: French Ban on Headscarves is NOT Discriminatory

#MuslimGirlProbs is our weekly link roundup of headlines, stories, events, and situations that make us want to rip our hijabs off.

Another week. Another set of crazy headlines. Enjoy my darlings.

Week of 11/22/15:

    • Armed mosque protestors publish Irving Muslims’ home addresses. Creepy much? Personal violation much? Anyone? Also, these protestors apparently call themselves B.A.I.R…. sounds familiar doesn’t it. [Daily Morning News]
    • Women facing fines of up to £6,500 for wearing burkas in Swiss region. “But other forms of face coverings such as masks, balaclavas or crash helmets will still be permitted…” K. [Independent]
    • French ban on Muslim headscarves is not discriminatory. The European Court of “Human Rights” ruled that the firing of a Muslim worker from a governmental hospital (for wearing a headscarf) is not a violation of religious freedom. Yo… the irony. You have one job, European Court. Live up to your effin name. [Sputnik International]
    • Remember that guy that hung up a “Muslim-Free Zone” sign in his Flordia gun-shop? Apparently this Islamophobe won the case because his (very wrong) statement is protected by the first amendment??? Yeah, doesn’t sound discriminatory at all. [World Net Daily]
