#MGBurritoLife: How to Look Cute Wearing a Blanket in Public

Salaam chicas! Okay so for those of you who haven’t noticed, it’s gotten cold. Like really, really, really cold. The perfect time to cover up modestly without sacrificing fashion and comfort. So layer, drape, and wrap up all you want to keep warm. Here I am again to show you my cute and fashionable solution to a popular burrito-style, modest, body warming tool: blanket scarves.

Step 1:

Choose an enormous scarf/shawl, one that’s seemingly unnecessarily huge. Try choosing a blanket scarf or shawl that is woven (it’s warmer) and fashionably patterned. Odds are your jackets is neutral tone so a pattern woven scarf/shawl will definitely throw in a bit of color and spice things up.

Step 2:

Wrap yourself inside and don’t worry about how you look, because anything looks adorable all bundled and wrapped.

Step 3:

Don’t stop there, though. Spice it up! Play around with the placement and what the pairing. You can easily make it the focal point of your outfit or a compliment to your outfit. Play the scarf down with  beautiful cardigan, or play it up with a completely black outfit. Your wardrobe, your choice, but you can never go wrong with a blanket scarf when you keep three the three Ps in mind: placement, pairing and pattern.
