By I wrote this speech in my senior year of high school for Academic Decathlon. I was inspired by Martin Luther King Jr. and all he stood for, and by Mahatma Gandhi and his message of resistance.
I wanted to add my voice to his and all those who came before him. To dream a little. The turbulent times we live in led me to return to it and wonder, how far have we come?
