According to Al Jazeera, the death toll surpassed 40,000 in the Turkey-Syria earthquake. This devastating earthquake has left many families without homes, water, food, and electricity. If you are looking to help the victims of this disaster, here are some organizations accepting donations.

Syrian American Medical Society

The Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) is a non-profit organization providing health care in Syria and throughout the world. They have been working with people affected by conflict in Syria for more than 20 years, and they currently serve over 100 hospitals, medical centers, and mobile clinics across the country.

UNHCR: The UN Refugee Agency

UNHCR is on the ground in Syria, delivering aid to the thousands displaced. Sivanka Dhanapala, UNHCR Representative in Syria estimated that over 5 million may need shelter support after the earthquake.
