Eid Mubarak, gals! I hope all of you had a fabulous Eid al-Fitr. This past Eid marked the third Eid since the hashtag #BlackoutEid was born. Originally created by  Aamina Mohamed, aka Amo, this hashtag helps to celebrate blackness, and to shed light on the lack of positive representation of Black Muslims in the greater Muslim population. The hashtag stems from #BlackMuslimRamadan and from the original initiative of them all #BlackoutDay.
