Part 3: This Is How You Pray Like a Muslim

You may have noticed within the last week we posted two prior videos in a series specifically catering to new Muslims. The first was how to make ghusl; the second was how to make wudu; and in this segment, we will learn how to make salat (prayer.)

This video will definitely help you in learning the basics of how to pray like a Muslim.

I spent more than a week searching the internet for a video that I thought would be easy to follow along for those who wanted to learn how to pray like a Muslim in the privacy of their own home. The goal was to find a video that explained each movement, provided translations of the words recited, as well as transliteration for our non Arabic readers. I think I found one that may be helpful. Remember, once you get the words down, the movements will come naturally. This video will definitely help you in learning the basics of how to pray like a Muslim.

You don’t have to be a convert or someone thinking about converting to Islam to watch this video. I know many people born and raised in Muslim homes who never learned how to pray properly. Inshallah, this video helps you.
