A D.C.-based youth advocacy group, Advocates For Youth, has set out to flood the Twitter-verse with stories of our unique identities, upholding the narrative that Muslims are not a monolith, and to expect otherwise is ridiculous. Through this mission, this courageous group of young Muslim organizers are “working to undo harmful stereotypes of Muslims,” and uplift those in our community whom are so often overlooked.
