By Hijabi blogger Maria Alia announced via Instagram and Snapchat her part in a new Pandora ad campaign.
“Craft of You,” the jewelry company’s campaign, features Alia in her usual chic turban hijab style, behind the wheel of a ’92 Saab. On her hand are Pandora rings and bracelets. Peeking out of her hijab, an earring.
Back in January, Alia was in Cape Town, South Africa, hinting at shoot locations and a project with Pandora. Yesterday she revealed just what she was working on.
“FINALLY I can share what I was working on in South Africa with @theofficialpandora: the new Spring 2017 “Craft of You” campaign!,” Alia said on Instagram. “Honestly it was the most fun I’ve ever had on a shoot, just driving up and down these electrifying Bo-Kaap streets in a drop-top ’92 Saab in the most stunning weather imaginable.”
The campaign, a global advertising effort with a focus on empowering women, will run in print, on TV and store displays. Watch out for a fabulously familiar face.
