How to Mix up Your #OOTDs With Neutrals

I am border-line obsessed with the color grey. It’s my favorite neutral. However, this season — I’ve decided to add another neutral to my grey obsession and I can’t get enough. What neutral am I talking about? Camel.

As I’ve lived in New York City for a few years now, I’ve learned to look for pieces that will give me endless amounts of wear. With mixing shades of tans and greys, you’ll be able to come up with so many #OOTDs you won’t know what to do with yourself!
With the weather in N.Y.C. being so unpredictable this fall, it’s important for your outfit to be versatile and be ready for 60 degrees during the day — Thanks, El Niño — to 40 degrees at night. This is when the art of layering comes in.

This look is ideal for our current weather conditions featuring this key item; the cocoon cardigan. I love a good oversized sweater, but it’s important to understand how to wear it so you still keep your shape.
With my favorite go-to American Eagle Outfitters hi-rise jeggings, I tucked in my Aerie turtleneck and added this black concho belt to show off my waist. This allows me to break up the monotone look and add some 90’s flare.
I love accessorizing with a hat. This one I scored at Madewell after dreaming about it for some time. It has a wide enough brim to make a statement but isn’t too over the top where you feel costume-y.
The last piece — my favorite Ray-Bans and Rachel Comey booties to complete my look in style.
