You’ve all heard of it. “The Messiah” is making waves as one of the best TV shows in a minute, and Netflix is laughing all the way to the bank. Truthfully, the premise even sounds remotely interesting. However, underneath the intriguing storyline lies dangerous subtext, and an unacceptable vilification of Muslims.

Now, we’re no spring chickens. We are well-versed in dubious TV shows using tired old stereotypes of Muslims to support their lazy scripts and reckless storylines. This time, however, is a little bit different.
