Here’s How to Fix a Democracy That No Longer Represents the People

In this TED Talk, Harvard Professor Lawrence Lessig discusses how money has corrupted democracy and our government, creating a system of inequality where only 0.02% of the U.S. population is represented by the so-called representative government. According to Lessig, this flawed system must be repaired before we can ever even adequately begin to address the most pressing problems of our generation, such as social security, climate change, and student debt.
