By What do you think will be the biggest challenge facing the NCPCF community moving forward?
One of the greatest challenges that the NCPCF has faced over the years is the lack of support from the Muslim and/or other communities based on the issues we work on. As a Muslim American academic, researcher and professional, I can certainly identify with and understand the role that fear plays in getting more people involved.
However, I hope that moving forward, we can empower and embolden our various constituencies to take action to end the various policies of the War on Terror. This will necessarily involve strategies designed to keep our communities safe as well as raise awareness of the ways in which said policies adversely affect the United States and everyone who exists within it borders.
