Cleveland Gunman Shot & Killed 74-Year-Old Man on Facebook Live

Cleveland police are searching for a man who killed an elderly man on Facebook live.

The suspect, Steve Stephens, is dangerous and armed, and a search is underway to find him. Stephens claimed he killed 14 more, although only one has been verified.

The victim is 74-year-old Robert Godwin. The video showed Stephens driving up to the old man walking and opened fire in the street after he says “found somebody I’m going to kill” and asks him to say “Joy Lang.” After Godwin repeated the name, Stephens said “Yeah, she’s the reason this might happen to you.” Joy Lang is believed to be his ex-partner.

The suspect, Steve Stephens, is dangerous and armed, and a search is underway to find him. Stephens claimed he killed 14 more, although only one has been verified.

Cleveland police held a press conference with Mayor Frank Jackson.

Jackson said: “We want to communicate to him that he will eventually be caught. He need not do any more harm to anyone, any innocent people, and any concerns and problems he’s having we’re here to have a conversation with him.’

When news first came out, many people tweeted that the shooter was Muslim and shot people because it was Easter. There’s no mention of his religion anywhere, and there shouldn’t be, since the video clearly shows he shot the old man because of an ex-partner dispute. Nowhere in the video does he mention Islam, Muslim, Easter or religion.
