We all know that eating right when you’re on the go is tough–especially during Ramadan when you wake up and you’ve only got five minutes before the athan–but we’ve got you covered with this quick and yummy (and oh so filling!) apple cinnamon oatmeal recipe.
Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Recipe
1/2 cup old fashion rolled oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1 small organic gala or Fuji apple (cut and diced)
1/3 cup vanilla almond, rice or soy milk
1 cup filtered water
1/2 cup of organic raisins
2 tsp of organic maple syrup (Adjust to taste)
1. Combine all ingredients (except non-dairy milk and organic maple syrup) in a microwave or cook it over a stove until fully cooked for 2-3 minutes.
2. Add non-dairy milk and maple syrup, stir, and go!
