You’re never too old to get excited about Eid. There is just something about waking up in the morning, putting on your best clothes, and spending the day with family and friends. With Eid Al-Adha 2019 right around the corner, we decided to share some of our favorite trends to inspire your Eid outfit. Because chances are, this Eid snuck up on you too (oops!), and you need to put together a chic outfit ASAP.
1. Read My Clips
By far, the easiest way to elevate your Eid look: add a hair clip to your hijab. We absolutely love how it immediately adds that extra sparkle, and we love how @sincerelymaryam styled one with her casual look. It quickly becomes the focal point, but also makes the whole look pop. Give her a follow and bless your Instagram feed.
2. Who Wears (Not Short) Skirts
Skirts are everywhere right now. They’re so elegant and classy, but the amazing thing is that they can be dressed up and down. Which means, after the Eid prayer, you can make necessary adjustments to be comfortable all day. We’re absolutely loving this polka dot print skirt styled by @ayshaharun. Be sure to take a look through her looks for more inspo!
3. Say Yes to the Dress
This is by far the easiest Eid outfit to put together. There are so many options out there now! Simply allow the dress to take center stage as your statement piece, and add complementary accessories. We are loving the look that @simplyjaserah put together. The shoes and purse complement that dress perfectly. Her looks are always so chic and effortless.
4. Miss Mix-A-Lot
The days of “matchy matchy” are over. Don’t be afraid to mix and match prints, colors, and styles. This not only opens the door for some fun with your looks, but it’s also very, very in. We are loving this look by @lialiving. She is the queen of creating a cohesive look with different prints and colors.
5. Hey, Sole-Sneakers
Yes, sneakers are in. Sneakers with pants, sneakers with skirts, and even sneakers with dresses. Comfort can be, and definitely is, chic. Sneakers can be the perfect statement piece. However, it can also be used to complement the rest of your look. We love how @shahdbatal did just that. Scroll through her feed, hit that follow button, and take notes.
The great thing about these trends is that chances are, you already have these items sitting in your closet. Don’t be afraid to get creative with the things you already have. We’re wishing you a super stylish and love-filled Eid!
