As we enter the last ten days of Ramadan, it may be hard for some of us to enter it with the same zealousness we approached the beginning of the month with. Some of us are struggling to keep being the best versions of ourselves throughout this entire blessed month.
Well, call me basically any Desi person, because I think I have found the remedy to cure our illness. (Yes, that was a cheap doctor shot, and yes I’m cringing at myself as much as you are right now.)
The lessons can all be applied in this month, and in the course of our lives in general. It’s a mantra about speaking up, even when others won’t. A doctrine claiming that we see things not as they are, but as we are, and what that says about us and how we can all come together to be one undeniable force. And so who will you choose to be?
But, I’m getting ahead of myself. Let me not stand in the way of you and Khalid.
