This Is What You Need to Know About Al Nakba

May 15 is known to Palestinians all over the world as Al Nakba, (the catastrophe/exodus). Exactly 69 years ago Palestinians were forced from their homes, many killed or displaced spreading Palestinians to refugee camps within the Middle East, while some were able to flee for safety in the west.

It’s important to note the the displacement of Palestinians began way before 1949, with British involvement; however, millions of Palestinians today are waiting for their right to return since 1949 when the Israeli army forced families through military fear, terror, guns, threats, and even murder.
