Following Donald Trump’s inauguration, Aziz Ansari proved that there was no one better to host SNL the day after.
Ansari gave a monologue, talking about the previous two days’ events, Islamophobia, and what he calls the “lower-case KKK.” He called on Trump to stop Tweeting and start trying to fix the national divide.
In his closing note, he told us that there was no need to worry. Referring to Saturday’s worldwide women’s marches, he said, “’Cause if you look at our country’s history, change doesn’t come from presidents. Change comes from large groups of angry people. And if Day 1 is any indication…you are part of the largest group of angry people I have ever seen.”
