President-Elect Trump Plans to Deport Three Million Immigrants

According to a “60 Minutes” interview with Donald Trump, at least two to three million undocumented immigrants will be deported after the President-elect is inaugurated in January.

During the interview, Trump said those immigrants who are undocumented with criminal records will be deported immediately.

“What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, where a lot of these people, probably 2 million, it could be even 3 million, we are getting them out of our country or we are going to incarcerate,” Trump told “60 Minutes” correspondent Lesley Stahl.

He also said he would consider building a fence rather than a wall to secure the border.

“For certain areas I would, but for certain areas a wall is more appropriate,” he said, adding, “I’m very good at this, it’s called construction, it’s what I do.”

As for illegal immigrants who are not criminals, Trump said he will determine what to do with them later.

After “everything gets normalized” and the border is secured, his administration will decide the fates of the remaining illegal immigrants, who he called “terrific people.”
