I couldn’t help saying mashaAllah after reading this entry! Knowing that the power of Allah’s words and Allah is stronger than the medicines… wowowow heehee.

I also have the same skin condition as you & I’m now on skin medication (creams and whatnot). I also have to take antibiotic pills! Alhamduliilah, my pimples are getting better but after reading this post, I am more than ever determined to try it the islamic way. Lol! :) Previously, at times I would be performing the ablution with my mind somewhere else. Astagafirullah.

So yes, jazakillahukhairan for sharing this sister. :) And I pray to Allah to bless us with healthy skin amin :)

i think it was the fact that you were keeping the oil off by washing 5 times a day combined with the prayers. How did you wash in school?

    • Amani

that’s definitely a plus of the wudu! that combined with some good faith did the trick. i usually get home before the duhr salaat is over, but it’s also possible to wash in between class if you’re praying while in school.

Hmm,that is a really cute and good idea to follow and gaining rewards for it as well.As I live in the UK and the water is like a “pure liquid lime-scale* unfortunately it makes my skin itchy and dry.Do you have any idea for this problem?? (My skin is also sensitive)

  • aaliyah

MashAllah! This was very helpful, InsahAllah it will help the rest of us in any conditions.

I really enjoyed your post. I have very similar skin that is very sensitive and always reacts to medications. I have been using a cream called Azelaic Acid to help clear acne and spots for two months but have not seen the best of results. I pray to Allah for it to start working. I am going to try to continue using the cream and implement what I learned what you have
mentioned. It sounds really interesting and appealing. InshAallah I shalll try it and get back to you on how it went. Thanks for sharing this sister and may Allah bless you and continue to guide you!

Ma sha Allah i read your blog and i cant help but smile and pray that Allah blesses you. I would have never thought this over . Thankyou.
Also for beautiful face read darood pak and recite the three names of Allah ya khaliqo ya musawero ya jameelo.

I used to have severe acne problem.Pimple, zit would pop up many times..I would also squeez them and doing that would leave a mark which will stay their for months..

I am a guy and I have never ever prayed religiously in my life. But since past 60 days Mashallah I am praying 5 times daily.

I read ur wadu technique and everytime I did wadu and washed my face I would say.
Ya Allah Clear my face and since starting that I have stopped picking up my skin and no new pimple or zit came up.

For effective and natural remedies, I would suggest to drink plenty of water, get enough sleep and visit your skin doctor. In my case, my dermatologist and clinic is in Marina Medical Centre

Wow mashaAllah sister I was amazed and so intrigued in your story I’m so glad I came across this. My skin was so bad I went through the same exact situation as you and tried almost everything. I used to wash my face day and night and look after it so much nothing seemed to work.
When Ramadan started I began to notice a huge improvement on my skin my acne had gone my scars had faded, although my skin isn’t perfect it’s much better. My little sisters used to say stuff about my face aswell and wen it cleared up they said your spots have disappeared what did u do? I didn’t know what to say at first i said nothing as the days went by family also began to ask questions what did u do I simply said Since Ramadan my face has improved.
I stopped using face washes and I didn’t even moisturise I stopped looking after my skin basically during Ramadan. Today all of a sudden out of curiosity I typed into google randomly “my skin has improved during Ramadan why?” I asked Google lol until I came across your story I realised yes WUDU I didn’t even think once it could be this doctors always told me if you wash your face too often you could break out but i was washing it 5 times a day. JazakAllah for sharing your story sister it honestly got me thinking anyways I wish you all the best x

    As Salamu Alaikum,
Alhamdulillah I’m really happy that Allah (swt) has cleared up your skin Mashallah! Allah (swt) loves when His servants make dua to Him! However, wudu is an act of worship and so I would reccomend to say these duas sometimes and not everytime you make wudu in order to avoid bid’ah (innovation) in the religion as this is not in the Quran or part of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (saw). The link below can explain better Inshallah but please feel free to do you’re own research as well if you wish as you are entitled to do so.
    Allah knows best.
