Dear Internet Proposers,
We here at MuslimGirl.com are the leading news source for all news relevant to us Muslim women since 2009. We are a team of talented and intelligent writers, editors, bloggers, and content makers.
And yet, an issue that we have tolerated for these seven years has been entitled men sending emails and direct messages of marriage proposals.
So it is time. We’re calling them out — I mean, officially welcoming them. Say hello to our new feature: #WallahBroWednesday — where we bring you compilations, listicles, translations, hilarious and downright absurd messages from those who are “single and looking for a wife, insha’Allah.”
May we remind you: this is not a dating site. If you want to keep it halal bro, go ask your mother to find you a wife. Even shaadi.com asks for a set of qualifications, fam — Facebook scouring is not one of them.

Do you believe that your “sweet talk” with awful grammar will charm us into making your so-called dreams come true? Do you think that confessing your love for a member of our team will get what you want? Do you think spamming us will get you a response? Do you think fetishizing us will weaken us to our knees? Do you think our fathers would be okay with your messages? If so, apply today!
It might be a no from us. But it’s a yes for an exclusive public feature to get your name and message out there! Think of all the publicity (and girls) this will bring you, right? 😉
Now, do not think that these proposals and love letters get into our heads. In fact, we joke about this a lot because ain’t nobody messing with our MuslimGirl Clique. Please — we’d ask you to reconsider sliding into our DMs and just being decent human beings, but don’t. We know you won’t. Instead, enjoy getting blocked and staying at the forefront for our new hilarious column.
Sincerely,
Muslim Girl

OMG literally dying from laughter. This is such an ingenious and funny idea for a feature ?
Right on! I look to the boys writing in to. Proposals not necessary. What do you think?
Does this seem a little bit creepy to anyone else? Or is it just me?
Ha, ha. No, not just you. Creepy enough for me too. Seems weird enough to be coming from rejected feminists or wannabe lesbians!
I know, right? Weird.
“Do you think fetishizing us will weaken us to our knees?” I LOVE these Muslims! Who has described this ubiquitous phenomenon like that before at all, not to mention so eloquently? Sorry for the labels. I hear a lot of foolish nonsense from religious persons, but they can also be so intelligent and articulate and say what everyone else is thinking!
Ask any Muslim man that is a doctor and he will say the same about entitled gold-digging women sliding in our DM’s. PS: the same women saying this now will whine when they hit 30 that all the good men are gone. No they just picked better women.
