It really doesn’t get any more all-American than country music and Tim McGraw, so when we realized that Tim McGraw included Muslims in his video for “Humble and Kind,” we were intrigued, and decided to check it out for ourselves. As we were listening, the song’s message was just too beautiful not to share: Always stay humble and kind.
This is also what Islam teaches us. As Imam Ali (AS) said, “Good manners are your beauty.” At time when we are judged collectively by the actions of a few, staying humble and kind is more important now than ever.
Yeah, maybe we’re a little late–after all, you can’t exactly dab to this–but hats off to Tim McGraw for making such a poignant video and song.
